Item of The Week: D&G Blouse

I love this blouse. This is a go to for almost anything in your closet, a pencil skirt, trousers or even super black skinny jeans. The blouse retails for about $405.00 dollars.

Item of The Week: Vintage Chanel Purse

This is the perfect investment piece, a bit on the small side, but will prove to be worth its cost many times over. You can use this bag for a night out on the town when you do not wish to carry a lot, or even during the day when you want to pack light. It's a classic, timeless, and black.

THE STYLECON: DIANA ROSS

We're all inspired by someone at some point. While I think there are a handful of studs and starlets in the entertainment world that could look killer without a stylist because they just have taste like that, there are so many that would be lost without someone telling them what they need to wear. Anyway, with that said I tend to look to the stars of yesteryear, the icons that have left a lasting inspiring effect on us all, talent and style wise. This month's Stylecon (a combination of style and icon) is none other than Ms. Ross AKA as Diana Ross. I could not get enough of her wardrobe in Mahogany, the costumes she wore as a Supreme and some of the glitzy pieces she wore later in her career. Who doesn't love sparkle, glitz and glam sometimes. Here are some modern day pieces that remind me in some way of the fabulous styles they use to sport way back when, with my little spin on it.

Item of The Week: Nixon Mens Watch

I love the way men watches look on women. Trust me, try it and you'll like it. Of course some men watches may be a bit too large for a woman's wrist, but this can be solved by taking it to a jeweler and having a link or two removed.

Info: Nixon "The Banks Men's" Dual Timepiece $320.00.

Item of The Week: Richard Nicoll Bulldog Clip

How Office Chic are these Erickson Beamon for Richard Nicoll clips. These are certainly every fashion stylist's dream. You can use these to cinch, tuck, as simple lapel decorations and some even as jewelry (check the pic below).

Info: the smaller clip retails for $325.00, the larger clip for $400.00.

BEAUTY & OTHER THINGS

BEAUTY: INSIDE & OUT
How many times has the packaging on an item totally pulled you in, convinced you that you needed to buy that something and you couldn't live without it? I have to admit I've been a victim of such lures. Sometimes the product is a one time purchase for me because its packaging is the greatest thing about it or I'm completely hooked because the product is just as fabulous as its packaging. In the case of these next two products I think you'll find that the packaging is just an extra and that products are great.
